AT&T expands mobile internet coverage in Tucson | Business

AT&T is expanding their Internet cell sites in the Tucson area.  There are four new sites activated today, these new sites will help enhance coverage for AT&T customers, both residential and business. 

These latest cell sites are part of AT&T’s ongoing effort to drive their investment and innovation and deliver better service to their customers.

"AT&T’s investment in Tucson helps ensure that our community has fast and reliable wireless access to the tools that help us excel,” said Lea Márquez-Peterson, president and CEO of the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, in a recent news release. "Enhancing our local wireless networks is a vital part of our economic health.”

The new cell sites are designed to enhance coverage for residents and businesses around the following areas:

• Speedway and Douglas Boulevards
• Magee Road and La Cañada Drive
• McDonald District Park
• Dove Mountain (Marana)

“As part of the Tucson community, our goal is for our local customers to have an extraordinary experience,” stated Jerry Fuentes, president of AT&T Arizona and New Mexico, in the same release. “Our investment in the local wireless network is just one way we’re working to provide enhanced coverage.”
