Marana holiday festival and tree lighting to kick off the holidays | Community Spirit

Looking to start a holiday tradition, why not head out to Marana for their annual tree lighting and holiday festival. 

There will a little something for everyone – local entertainers, a hot air balloon glow, arts and crafts and food vendors, as well as free cookies and hot chocolate.  Santa and Mrs. Claus will be putting in an appearance too. 

Mayor Ed Honea and the Town Council will be lighting the tree at 5:45 p.m. and the emcee will be Piper Stoeckel, Miss Arizona 2012. 

The event is free, but in the spirit of the season, attendees are asked to bring a new unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots. 

WHEN:  December 1, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

WHERE:  Municipal Complex (11555 W. Civic Center Dr.)
