Seniors in Marana enjoy Thanksgiving a day early | Community Spirit

Thanksgiving came a day early for members of Marana’s Senior Program.

Thirty volunteer cooks and servers dished out food Wednesday to 75 people during the Town’s Gobble ’Til You Wobble lunch at the Marana Senior Center.

Many of the 13 turkeys and seven hams were donated by the High Heels for Hope charitable organization and Northwest Fire District, who also helped prepare and serve the meal.

Enough food was available to give seniors to-go boxes for Thanksgiving tomorrow.
