Deadline to apply for Trico POWER Grants fast approaching | Events
Local non-profit agencies and community organizations can receive up to $10,000 in grant funds from the Trico Electric POWER Grant program. But they have to act fast – the application deadline is November 1.
Groups that provide Food and Basic Needs to Children are encouraged to apply. A total of $40,000 will be given.
Organizations do not have to be located in Trico’s service area to be eligible; however, the organization must demonstrate that the funds will be used to assist a significant number of children and youth in Trico’s service area.
Grant applications must be received at Trico’s offices by November 1, at 3 p.m. Grants will be evaluated on a competitive basis and awards will be made for a single-year.
POWER Grant guidelines, applications and additional information are available at Trico’s web site, www.trico.coop. Additional information is also available by contacting Romi Carrell Wittman, Director of Communications, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Since the inception of the POWER Grants program in 2008, Trico has given $240,000 to local non-profits providing critical services to our community
