Budget errors for Picture Rocks Fire District | News

In a recent news release the Picture Rocks Fire District (PRFD) Chief Brett Lane and Assistant Chief Jayme Kahle reported there were discrepancies in their end of the year budget. 

According to PRFD officials, an independent CPA was hired to perform a limited scope accounting review to help determine whether the discrepancies were valid.

The PRFD board has approved a full forensic audit, and the matter is still under investigation, PRFD officials said.
